About the role
Interested to join a young and growing international reinsurance company? Monument has a unique and successful business model in the insurance sector that consists in acquiring Life Insurance Businesses. To support our further growth, we are currently looking for a Payroll and Fleet Administrator to strengthen our HR teams in Liège and Brussels.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare the monthly payroll instructions together with the provider and manage the mobility policy. 
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information;
  • Process new joiners & leavers in terms of payroll system, insurances declaration, benefits administration and drafting of the relevant fiscal and social documents (attestations, C4, etc.) related to new joiners & leavers.
  • Manage the car records and ensuring operational efficiency across the fleet throughout the year and close collaboration with lease companies;
  • Answer staff’s questions relating to payroll and mobility policy;
  • Ensure proper collection of any evolution in compensation & benefits packages (gross, bonus, benefit in kinds including company cars, …);
  • Ensure proper collection of absences with supporting documentation (illness, holidays, educational leave, parental leave, maternity leave, circumstance vacation …).
Role Requirements
  • This role would suit a team player with a positive can-do attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills; 
  • Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a payroll office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Professional knowledge of French, English and Dutch;
  • Ability to work in a very agile and fast growing organisation; 
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and know when to escalate; 
  • Strong organisational and ability to prioritise work efficiently and effectively; 
  • You are pro-active, pragmatic and solution oriented; 
  • You are a able to collaborate with employees at all levels and across multi-functional teams;
  • You can choose to be based in our Brussels  or in our Liège office;
  • You keep up with the latest HR trends and best practices.
