AML Due Diligence Administrator 6-month FTC

About the role
We are looking for a detail-focused AML Due Diligence Administrator to support a high-priority compliance project.  Reporting to Customer Services, this role will focus on AML / compliance related activities, to assist with a project to collect and record due diligence information to support Monument in ensuring regulatory requirements are met and help improve internal processes related to AML controls.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct customer risk assessments and Anti Money Laundering checks to identify any discrepancies.
  • Request and verify due diligence information and documentation from customers in line with regulatory standards
  • Process customer and intermediary queries effectively and promptly.
  • Accurately update and maintain data within spreadsheets 
  • Identify gaps or issues in customer information and escalate where needed
  • Manage all allocated items of work in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Produce clear project summaries, reports and status updates for stakeholders  .
  • Demonstrate good customer service in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Completion of all mandatory training sessions.
  • Collaborate with compliance and operational teams supporting and encouraging teamwork
Role Requirements
  • Experience in financial services industry, with exposure to and working knowledge of AML / CFT requirements preferable
  • Experience of similar client due diligence projects would be highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with data 
  • Comfortable working with processes, meeting deadlines and ability to prioritise 
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and conscientious.    
  • Strong communication  skills with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to positively engage with all external and internal stakeholders.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Eager to learn and share knowledge, flexible and open-minded.
  • High level of integrity.
