As a Customer Services Senior Associate, you will be responsible for processing all aspects of policy administration accurately and efficiently, in line with the Company’s agreed timescales and service standards. This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover.

About the role
Responsibilities
Process client requests effectively and promptly; specialisms will vary, but tasks could include:
- regular premium collections.
- fund switches and redirections.
- ad hoc servicing items.
- part and full surrenders.
- regular income payments; and
- death claims and maturities.
Develop an in-depth understanding of the relevant products, how they are operated and the issues/challenges in relation to their run-off. The product sets are made up of:
- Defined Contribution Pension Plans
- Immediate and Deferred Annuity Plans
- Single Premium Whole of Life Plans
- Regular Premium Unit Linked Plans
Carry out Anti Money Laundering checks and collect relevant documentation from clients.
Manage all items of work that have been allocated in a timely and accurate manner.
Participate in all training sessions that the company offers.
Support and encourage teamwork and co- operation with all clients (internal and external) within the business and your team; and support the Team Leader where appropriate.

Role Requirements
Experience of working in a life assurance company (or similar role).
Experience of projects to migrate business desirable.
Experience of administering Portfolio Bonds or Pension Products is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Demonstrates a proactive, enthusiastic and positive approach
Effective communicator with the ability to engage confidently with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong inter-personal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
Time management and organisational skills.
Eager to learn and share knowledge, adaptable and open-minded.
Relevant professional qualifications from the CII or CISI would be advantageous but are not essential.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism
