About the role

Reporting directly to the Senior Group HR Generalist, Monument Re is looking to hire a Group HR Administrator. This position will play a vital role in supporting our Group HR function to deliver our priorities and plans across the jurisdictions in which we operate. This position will require the successful candidate to support payroll and HR processes with a strong focus on reporting and analysis to help drive valuable business insights. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the wider HR function. This role will be based in Dublin and is an 11-month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll data for Ireland, the UK and Bermuda, liaising with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to support accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Administer a range of payroll-related activities, including pension administration, benefit deductions, salary changes, and employee payroll queries.
  • Maintain and update employee records our HR system, ensuring data accuracy 
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly HR KPI reports.
  • Monitor and respond to queries received through the HR Operations inbox, escalating issues where required and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Provide administrative support to the Group HR Team, including drafting letters, preparing documentation, references and responding to ad hoc requests.
  • Support the delivery of an effective onboarding process for new joiners, coordinating documentation, inductions, and employee communications.
  • Coordinate learning and development activities, including training administration, scheduling, logistics management, and communication with participants.
  • Provide administrative support across the recruitment lifecycle when needed, such as advertising, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects as and when needed.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the HR team, proactively assisting with the delivery of the Group HR agenda and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Requirements

This junior role would suit a person who possesses the following skills and attributes:
  • A positive and proactive individual with a strong customer focus.
  • A willingness to learn and support a broad range of HR activities.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ in a HR support role, ideally with exposure to payroll and benefits administration.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with a reputation for meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data and record management.
  • Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Advanced MS Office skills desirable, particularly in Excel.

Hatch Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Hybrid working model available.
